The Studio de musique ancienne de Montréal performs sublime and poignant polyphonic vocal works from the Renaissance, inspired by the Lamentations of Jeremiah. These texts, which recount the expulsion of the Jews from Jerusalem in the 7th century BC, were set to music by various important composers, including Thomas Tallis, Cristobal de Morales and Orlando de Lassus. An extraordinary vocal concert under the direction of Andrew McAnerney.
