Debussy, Fauré, Duruflé : Lumières immortelles

Debussy, Fauré, Duruflé : lumières immortelles

June 16, 2023 at 7 p.m.

Boucherville

Église Sainte-Famille

560 Marie-Victorin Blvd.

In this program of French music, the effervescence of life—evident in Duruflé’s mercurial Scherzo, op. 2 and Debussy’s luminous Danses pour cordes et harpe—infuses the music for the departed. Les Rugissants and their artistic director, Xavier Brossard-Ménard, offer a radiant musical celebration of the iridescent masterpiece requiems of Fauré and Duruflé.

This concert is presented in partnership with the Canadian International Organ Competition (CIOC).

Les Rugissants would like to thank the Saint-Pierre family for their generous support of this project in celebration of Mr. Guy Saint-Pierre and the artistic excellence of Les Rugissants.
