ABOUT THE FESTIVAL
Founded in 2010, the Classica Festival is the only large-scale classical music event in Montérégie. It stands out for its open and modern approach, incorporating a lyrical component with the New Metropolitan Opera (NOM) and the use of digital arts. The festival aims to democratize classical music and to sustainably enrich the Quebec cultural landscape.
MISSION
To create a public space that fosters encounters between classical music in its broad definition, artists, emerging musicians and the public, while prioritizing the hiring of Quebec and Canadian artists.
VISION
To offer a classical music ecosystem that offers a unique live and digital concert experience.

The creation of an event such as Festival Classica is an exciting endeavour, but it is not without its share of challenges. Good fortune has brought together the group of remarkable and passionate individuals who make up Festival Classica’s board of directors.
