Claude Debussy : Images oubliées

Reinvented for cello and piano by two acclaimed artists, these Images oubliées paint a timeless portrait of a musical legend.

The pairing of these two instruments allows these pieces to become even more defined. The solo aspect of the works is transformed into a dialogue, allowing Debussy’s music to resonate differently—at times more intimate, at others more grandiose—but always intent on creating a meaningful connection with the audience. The evocative power of these compositions is inevitably altered; they now portray their own stories as well as those of the two musicians who recount them. In this unique, thematic concert, cellist Stéphane Tétreault and pianist Olivier Hébert-Bouchard offer a musical retrospective of the life of Claude Debussy.
