In this show, Marie Hubert embarks on a transatlantic journey in the 17th century. Through a personal diary, we trace her life from her departure in Paris to New France. Soprano Karina Gauvin is supported by Claude Lapalme's arrangements for strings, winds, harp, and piano, and is accompanied by the Quatuor Molinari, the ensemble Pentaèdre, Pierre McLean (piano), Kyra Charlton (harp), and Étienne Lafrance (double bass). Karina sings pieces by Bach, Beethoven, Mahler and Britten, alongside contemporary works from the 20th and 21st centuries.
