Word from the President of the Board of Directors and the General and Artistic Director

Since its debut in 2011, Festival Classica has grown steadily. In just ten years, it has established a niche for itself as a leading classical music event. Today, it ranks among the top emerging cultural organizations, through its enviable reputation as well as the quality of both its programming and its leadership.

Over the years, Festival Classica has presented over 420 concerts attended by more than 360,000 festivalgoers. It has hired close to 1,100 musicians, upwards of 1,900 orchestral musicians and over 270 professional painters. In addition, the event has featured more close to 2,500 choristers and showcased some 3,700 emerging artists! Festival Classica is acclaimed in Canada, the United States, Europe and even as far away as Australia, thanks to exciting productions and radio broadcasts produced here and reprised internationally.

The members of all our directors join us in thanking the Festival’s management team, all the volunteers and, of course, our donors.
